The Apprenticeship Levy and How It Affects Your Business

Thursday 25th May 2017, from 8:30am to 10:00am
Cost: Free

The 1st May 2017 marked a new beginning for all organisations and an opportunity to tackle well publicised skills shortages and low productivity.  The reforms to apprenticeships and how they are funded changed significantly from this date and represent a huge opportunity for businesses to develop, upskill and retain their talent.

At this breakfast seminar, we will look further at the apprenticeship reforms and how businesses can best take advantage of them.

Designed for business owners and HR/L&D professionals to help them gain a more thorough understanding of the reforms, the seminar will also be an ideal opportunity to network and share best practice with others.

Topics covered:

  • Overview of the apprenticeship reforms and the new levy
  • Using the reforms to target specific skills gaps
  • Developing the skills of leaders and managers
  • Embedding learning, using complementary tools and techniques
  • Planning for success and internal communication

Alison Bagnall, MD of PWG/The Apprentice Academy will present the session, followed by Q&A.
